"When Cori finds out that she's been the subject of a mysterious experiment, she intends to get to the bottom of it. "The Gadget Project" is a science fiction superhero story created in 2020, and is still in development. During the pandemic, Maya spent her time writing and drawing concepts for this story, and was given the opportunity to create a comic book to aid her process. Later, in the last semester of her high school years, she directed and storyboarded a pilot episode for "The Gadget Project". She was able to complete it with the help of her good friend Maya Shimron, who wrote, edited, and produced the ambitious project. Together, they gathered students within their school to voice act and bring this cast of characters to life.
